The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, March 28 reveal a day of realizations and affirmations throughout Genoa City. Cane’s taking stock of his life and forcing himself to see what’s actually there, not what he’d like it to be, while Abby refuses to give in when Arturo begs for a second chance.

Cane promised to wait for Lily and stay faithful to her while she served her year in prison for accidentally killing Hilary. But then Cane kissed Victoria twice! and Billy had to rush up and tell Lily all about it.

Lily turned her back on Cane, even as he swore to Mattie and Charlie that they were still a family. (There’s also baby — probably toddler by now — Sam. No one has mentioned Sam in a while. Can someone explain what the point of that whole story with Juliet was, again?)

But a man can only lie to his kids and himself for so long. On the next episode, Cane is forced to take a long hard look at what his life has turned into. And accept that everything he expected it to be has gone completely off the rails.

Arturo is sooooo sorry he slept with Mia. Arturo swears he doesn’t know why he slept with Mia. (To be fair, neither does anyone else.) Arturo begs Abby for her forgiveness. Can’t they just move on and start again?
