The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, May 8 reveal a catch-up day for new viewers as Sharon fills Rey in on her past with Adam. This should be quite a story as Rey doesn’t really know Sharon that well at all. Also, Devon refuses to be transparent, and Traci unveils a new side to her personality we never really expected.

Victor and Nikki talk circles to Rey when he wants to know about Sharon and Adam’s past. Sharon, on the other hand, is willing to fill Rey in on the good and the bad. She admits that she loved Adam, and thought he loved her back.

But, there was also the incident where he kidnapped newborn Faith and passed her off as Ashley’s child. That kind of rankled. Still, Sharon’s feelings for Adam remain complex… especially since he now claims not to remember some of his worse deeds… or some of the more recent women in his life.

Hey, does Sharon have some ideas in the back of her mind just as she’s found a new man and some happiness? Devon asked Elena out, and even gave her one of Hilary’s never-worn-gowns so she’d fit in at the Society opening.

They even went out on a second date, at Society, of course. Elena laughed and that reminded Devon of Hilary. So, he pulled back.
