The sickness that took the lives of Kayla and newlywed Kate is sweeping through Marlena. Her poisoned body is barely hanging on, and the bright light is coming for her. She’s slipping away, and things are getting worse by the minute. Her condition quickly deteriorates right in front of everyone’s eyes.
Belle makes a mad dash home and bursts through the hospital’s doors while praying for a miracle. The elusive orchid saved the women once, but it doesn’t look like it will do the same this time. Belle is fully aware of what is at stake and hopes beyond hope time doesn’t run out.
Meanwhile, Kristen feels the heat and knows the walls are closing in. There is only one thing to do, and that’s run as fast and as far from Salem as she can. She has no intention of doing it alone, though. She may not have Brady’s love, but she does have her daughter’s, and she’s not packing up without her.
Kristen readies herself and her kiddo for a big trip out of this city. She plots her and Rachel’s great escape. It’s spontaneous, it’s dangerous, but at least they’ll be together…or so she hopes.
