Steffy is heartbroken (find out how her husband tried to help her here) over Eric’s impending demise. Her granddad is one of the most important people in her life, and she cannot imagine a world without him. The harsh reality is, it seems his time is fast coming to an end, and the only thing she can do is give him the best final months possible.
To do this, everyone in Eric’s circle needs to take a step back, wipe their tears, and put on a happy face. Steffy senses the importance of keeping up appearances for his sake and pushes others to do the same. If Eric wants smiles and bliss, give him smiles and bliss!
Is this sunshine and roses approach the best? Maybe not. But, it’s what they are going to do. As far as Steffy is concerned, some fake happiness and a few little white lies aren’t going to hurt anyone.
