Bill shocked us all with his declarations of love for Katie. It sounded like he would drop Poppy if Katie would take him back. That didn’t happen, and Bill returned to his new family. Though Bill said Katie was “the love of his life,” he wants to move forward with Poppy and their daughter, Luna. Part of that is adopting Luna and making her a Spencer.
The other part of being a Spencer is luxuriating in the finer side of life, and that’s exactly what Bill gives Poppy and Luna. It should be a big deal for the formerly single mom and daughter who lived a simple life. Will Poppy and Luna get carried away with their newfound material success?
Although Poppy has landed right where she always wanted to be, traces of her old life remain. Poppy didn’t want anyone to know about her past relationship with musician Tom Starr, who became homeless. Deacon and Sheila gave Tom a second chance at life, only for him to collapse and die after his first concert in years.
