However, Jack didn’t actually die. Instead, he recovered on Days of Our Lives. But she and Steve couldn’t keep away from each other. They ended up reuniting, even though she was still married to Jack. They both decided to keep this a secret from him until after he was elected to town council.
Jack, however, found out. Angry over her betrayal, Jack goes into a rage and ends up raping her. This obviously leads to a falling out and eventual divorce between the two. Their relationship was never the same, though they did manage to become friendly to each other later on down the line, against all odds on DOOL.
When Jen told Kayla the news about his return, as well as his memory loss, Kayla told her that she would do anything she could to help out. She knew she could start working on a serum to help him regain his memories, though there would be no telling if this type of serum would even work. Het and Kayla have obviously come a long way on Days of Our Lives.
When she tells Jack about his past, will she reveal all about their dark history? And just how will he take it? Jack’s own past really tormented him, especially what he did to her, for a really long time. He always struggled with it. Now that Kayla may tell him about this, will it torment him like it used to?
Kayla Brady, at the end of the day, wants to help Jack Deveraux. And from what she says, a thrilled Steve wants the best for his brother. The dynamic between the three has always been DOOL gold, so it would be wonderful to see Steve reappear and have some type of scene with Jack!
