And next week, their son JJ Deveraux takes off on the run with Haley Chen. So, her Mother’s Day will be one kid out of the country and one on the run from the law. And she’s furious with Jack and has no man in her life. Not a happy holiday by any means.

Other upcoming drama on DOOL has Kate Roberts dealing with Rex Brady who may have his heart ripped out soon. With Nicole sidelining Eric, Sarah Horton may run to him and ditch Rex. So, Kate may need to comfort her son over heartbreak soon. And Philip Kiriakis was name dropped recently but he’s not around. Of all the moms on the list, Kate may be the one to have a marginally happy day.

Days of Our Lives have Hope Brady getting hit with a trifecta of tough news at Mother’s Day. First, her beloved daughter Ciara Brady is bedding down with a serial killer. Second, her husband Rafe Hernandez threw away his wedding ring and they’re divorcing. Last, new mayor Jack is about to fire her. So, even if Ciara gets her a spa day and a batch of carnations, no doubt Hope Brady’s day will still stink.

Also on DOOL, Marlena Evans has dim days ahead. She’s happy with her hubby, but her son and grandson are devastated and that’s got her reeling. Marlena encouraged Eric to share his feelings. He did, then dumped Sarah for Nicole who then dumped him. Plus, Holly’s death wrecked Eric and Nicole’s blaming him. Then, there’s her grandson’s brain tumor. Even if John Black gets her five dozen roses, this is not going to be a great Mother’s Day.
