Li promised to love and cherish Finn the second he was placed in her arms as a baby. And, she’s done just that. It wasn’t hard to do. Finn is a loveable guy. However, his current choices and actions are putting everyone, including himself, at risk and Li isn’t sure what to make of this mess.
Li’s loyalty to Finn wavers as she wonders how her son fell under the She-Devil’s spell. Sheila is a murdering monster who shot him, tried to kill his wife in cold blood, and even ran her off the road. Sure, she saved Kelly, but what of it? That doesn’t atone for anything. One good deed doesn’t erase the bad.
What’s more, Li, herself, begged Finn to keep his distance for all their safety, and he’s now hailing Sheila as a hero. No, son! Get your head on straight! Now, she has to consider what’s best for everyone. If Finn won’t protect himself or his family, she may need to distance herself until he comes to his senses.
