It was jealousy that made her betray the trust of Tripp and Haley to join Eve to denounce the young nurses shelter. However, her ultimate goal was not achieved, but she had made things worse when Tripp and Haley were now planning a fake wedding to legalize.

Haley’s illegal immigration issue. This made Claire even more mad in her own plan to keep Tripp. Once again Claire went to Eve to search for allies in exposing this fake marriage. After being presented by Eve by recording Tripps confession that this is just a green card marriage, to be the most solid evidence that Haley was expelled.

After getting it Claire was anxiously waiting for Eve to expose this fake marriage. But it seems that Claire has placed the wrong belief. Eve is a woman who is intriguing and cunning, she will not do anything if it does not benefit herself. Maybe Eve decided to keep the secret of this fake wedding. although it is unknown what her motives are, it is definitely not good.

Eve might keep it to create some tricks to benefit herself. The fact that Eve did not expose the secret would make Claire unhappy at all, causing her to be devastated. This may lead Claire to a more dangerous path in the hope that Haley will leave Tripp as soon as possible.
