Days of Our Lives spoilers for Friday, September 21 promise both a heartbreaking day in Salem and a comical one. You won’t want to miss a moment of this emotional episode. John, Kayla, and Roman knew it wasn’t going to be easy hiding Marlena on an empty hospital floor and replacing her with Hattie, but they didn’t think Hattie would cause as much trouble as she is.

Of course, they should have known because they’ve all dealt with Hattie before, but we guess it didn’t cross their minds as they were so determined to buy time for Marlena.

Tomorrow, spoilers say John finds himself facing a whole new obstacle. Does Hattie want out of that hospital bed as desperately as she seemed the other day? Do other people want to visit now that they think Marlena is on the mend? Roman finds himself in a bit of trouble when he tries to stop Belle from seeing the woman she thinks is her mother.

Hattie is not happy with either girl and Roman knows Marlena would never express this much anger. But Hattie wants to have at Belle and Sami some more and it’s up to Roman to stop the chaos.

While Eric is thrilled his mother is allegedly going to be just fine, he has no idea that another shoe is about to drop. Eve makes a last-ditch effort to stop Jennifer from telling Eric why Nicole really left town last year, but it doesn’t look like Eve’s going to be able to stop the honest Horton from doing what’s right.

Jennifer may think she is in love with Eric and want to marry him and live happily ever after, but she knows that can’t happen with this secret between them.

Finally, Lucas asks Adrienne for a huge favor and something tells us he’s going to do what he can to get Bonnie out of jail and make sure his newfound daughter has a mother?

Will an angry Adrienne give in and do what Lucas asks? After all, Bonnie did make her life a living hell last fall. But she did break Lucas’s heart and may feel she owes him.
