Tripp wanted Ciara to himself and saw Ben as a threat. Tripp knew the charges against Ben didn’t exist because of lack of evidence and Tripp had access to Ben’s fingerprints because they live in the same house. Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) wanted Tripp to herself, did she frame Ben to pull Ciara closer to him to free Tripp for herself? Claire’s dad is a forensics expert; she would have enough knowledge to know how to do this and get by with it.
