EJ rejoices in the revelation — meaning as it does that he is the father of Nicole’s unborn child — and summarily dismisses Eric, who shares a fraught moment with Nicole before making his exit.
Nicole attempts to temper EJ’s excitement by pointing out the likelihood that she’ll be unable to carry their child to term, but he poo-poos the very idea.
