It comes as no surprise that Julie is not a fan of her granddaughter dating a serial killer, reformed or not.
Julie refuses to take Ben’s reservation at Doug’s Place. That leaves Ben and Ciara Brady with no place to go for their first date. The couple settles on having Chinese food in the park for their date. They don’t need anything fancy to enjoy spending time with each other. Eating Chinese food with chopsticks in the park is certainly romantic. Despite Julie’s best effort to derail their date, they end up having the perfect time.
