The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, January 9 continue diving into the past to inform the future as Ashley runs into Cole. Victoria and Cole weren’t together when their baby, Eve, was born…and supposedly died. Victoria was in a relationship with Neil, and Cole was with Ashley. Yes, the guy who might have been Victor’s son slept with Victor’s daughter, and with two of his ex-wives, Ashley, and Nikki.
Ashley and Cole ended up splitting on relatively friendly terms, which is why they are happy to run into each other now. She was there when he lost little Eve and knows how hard it was for him. She’s in a pretty vulnerable place herself these days, with the split from Tucker. It must be nice to see a friendly face from the past. And maybe for the future?
Kyle is feeling particularly smug these days. We can tell, because he’s wearing his very smug face, rather than his slightly smug face. He thinks he has Jack where he wants him because he’s told him he has Tucker where he wants him, and he thinks he has Audra where he wants her because she’s pretending to believe that too (find out Silver’s thoughts on Kyle here).
Kyle is convinced nothing can go wrong with his brilliant plan, which is why, when it does, he has a bit of a meltdown. And this one promises to go beyond his usual watery eyes, quivering lip, and petulant foot-stomping.
