Like all rich people who commit crimes, Lily won’t end up serving her full sentence. She is getting out early. Due to good behavior or overcrowding or plot convenience. We don’t really know. And Lily has some very concrete plans for her future. Which don’t include Cane. They also don’t seem to include Charlie and Mattie.

We get that prison has forced Lily to think about simplifying her life and kicking the husband who just can’t seem to keep kissing other women to the curb. But doing the same to your kids isn’t an option. Yeah, teenagers are not simple. Now deal with it. Although they ARE going off to college, right?

Anyway, back to Cane. Lily sent him divorce papers via Michael. Cane said he wasn’t going to sign them also via Michael. This is what passes a storyline for an Emmy winner. And we mean a real Emmy winner. From when there were more than four shows competing.

But Cane is determined to win his wife back. Whether she likes it or not. And Lily is just as determined to cut him loose. Whether Cane likes it or not. Prepare for a stand-off!
