Finally, Summer’s mom Phyllis hasn’t had a great run of things lately when it comes to her children. Summer fired her at Christmas, and then Daniel hired her. However, he’s seemed less than thrilled by that hiring lately.
Instead of backing off, Phyllis chose to meddle in his life again by heading to Portugal to try to fix her son’s personal life. Not at all surprisingly, Daniel didn’t like that his mom talked to Heather behind his back, so Phyllis is forced to defend her actions to him.
And she has Daniel’s daughter, Lucy Romalotti, with her. Indeed, this is a positive sign. No doubt, Daniel will be thrilled to see his little girl on Young and the Restless. And the three of them may finally reunite as a family. However, it may take some work on Daniel’s part.
Also, he might have his hands complete with his mother. Recent spoilers suggest she’ll go above and beyond to get what she wants. But, no doubt, it will blow up in her face. And it could make matters worse with her daughter, Summer Newman.
