The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, April 17 promise a day of romance and remembering throughout Genoa City. Billy proposes to Victoria, Cane makes plans for a future with or without Lily, and Mariah’s spooked by a mysterious message.

How many times have Billy and Victoria given this marriage thing a try? (How many Billys has she been through?!) It has never, ever worked. He’s a gambling addict. She’s obsessed with her family. He cheats. She cheats. He’s on the rebound from Phyllis. She had more fun with a stranger in Las Vegas who may not end up staying in Vegas.

Will Billy be bringing any of these things up as he proposes? Or will he just stick to… look… Johnny… Katie. They’re cute. Let’s have another one? Also, what will Victoria say? She wanted to take it slow, but this is the exact opposite of slow despite Billy being in denial about that fact.

Lily is getting out of prison. Cane wants to reunite. Lily wants to split up. Those divorce papers she sent were a major clue. As was Cane not signing them. Which one will get their way? Cane has a plan. That just might fall apart once Lily hears some truly horrible news.

Maybe another pep talk from Traci will help. Or, maybe this horrible news will be so shocking that not even Traci can solve it. Mariah is looking on the bright side. Sharon is out of prison. Tessa wasn’t punished for blackmail. And she’s writing music again! Yay, everything is great!
