Jack is not a quitter. When he’s interested in a woman, he doesn’t let a little thing like her sneaking out of his house on Thanksgiving and blowing him off via text stop him. Jack is intrigued by Kerry. She is brilliant, beautiful…and busy. She also keeps sending Jack mixed signals.

One minute they’re sipping wine in front of a roaring fire and she’s telling him about her parents’ divorce, boarding school, and her plans to take Jabot to the top, and the next, it’s like none of it ever happened.

But Jack likes a challenge. Some of his favorite past women were challenges, including Jill, Diane, and Phyllis. Not that any of those ended well. (Not that any of Jack’s relationships ever end well.) But, he’s a romantic. And now that he’s got his eye on Kerry, it’s damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead!
