Adam recently quit Jabot of his own volition, but he realizes that Victor has plans for him. Of course, Adam is never happy with what Victor plans if it involves being second to his sister Victoria.
Since it’s obvious that Victoria will continue to run Newman Enterprises, then there’s very little chance that Adam will just fall in line with what their father plans. In fact, he plots to undermine Victoria, but he might want to watch out because it doesn’t seem as if she is too interested in working with Adam, either.
Victor realized that Jack and Diane framed Jeremy Stark. Even so, he felt the man was trouble and didn’t want him in Genoa City to potentially do harm to his family. Because of Jeremy’s reputation and his return to town, Victor puts him on notice. We suspect he won’t be the only one out to get this bad guy.
