Sure, if the answer is no, Adam’s heart will be broken yet again. But it’s still better than not knowing where he stands, and approaching every conversation as if they’re reinventing the wheel all over again.
Billy and Chelsea first got together because she was broken, and Billy loves women who need him to fix them. Lucky for him, Chelsea needs constant reassurance that she’s simply the best. The best mother, the best designer, the best whatever job she has now, the best girlfriend. And Billy will be right there every time to play cheerleader. As long as they both know their roles.
Later, on Young and the Restless, Nikki has some explaining to do to her husband after catching her with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). Of course, nothing is going on between Nikki and Jack. He is just her new sponsor and trying to help her overcome her alcohol addiction again.
However, they are both still lying to Victor and keeping secrets from him. So, he is sure to be livid. Then, his old feud with Jack may reignite, and Nikki will likely blame herself for being a burden on both of them. And she may spiral further out of control.
