Cameron kidnapped Faith in an effort to get Sharon to reunite with him. He felt completely confident that he would be able to win her back (or force her hand, perhaps) during his return to Genoa City.
He sent Sharon a photo of Faith all tied up. Cameron let Sharon know that he couldn’t guarantee that she would be returned. Of course, Sharon and Nick created a plan for dealing with Cameron, but he was ahead of them, sneaking down Sharon’s stairs the moment she was alone.
Luckily, Nick got a message from Sharon and was able to return to face off with Cameron in a big battle. But unfortunately, Cameron was able to deal with Nick and he ran upstairs and out of her home through the hole he made in Noah’s closet.
