For the most part, it seems like things are coming up roses for Diane Jenkins since her return to Genoa City. Granted, she had to spend time convincing people she wasn’t lying or keeping secrets (when she was actually doing that), but eventually, her son Kyle, and perhaps more importantly, Jack welcomed her back with open arms.
Oh sure, Phyllis faked her death with the help of Jeremy Stark and framed Diane for it. She did spend a bit of time in jail, but ultimately, Phyllis returned, and Diane got to return home to plan her wedding to Jack.
Despite everything going so well for her, Diane visits her dark side. It seems perhaps she’s not quite as changed as she’s said she was all this time. It seems highly unlikely that Diane is going to allow Phyllis’s misdeeds to go unpunished.
