In the wake of Audra Charles’s true allegiance to Tucker McCall coming to light, and the reveal that Tucker had planned a takeover of Chancellor-Winters in order to then gift it to his son, Devon Hamilton is more resolved than ever to stop the company from going public — but he faces an uphill battle.
Both Jill Foster Abbott and Lily Winters disagree with Devon’s position, which results in an overruling, which in turn results in Devon deciding to extricate his half of the company from the whole. As before, Devon is overruled.
War is declared…but hope — in the form of a convoluted scheme cooked up by Lily and signed off on by Jill — springs eternal. Misplaced anger and an innate sense of entitlement see Kyle Abbott attempt to put Adam Newman “in his place” only to wind up summarily rebuked and reminded of just how ineffectual he truly is.
