Having been made aware of Ashley’s efforts to have him removed as CEO of Jabot, Jack returns to the Abbott manse in a tizzy and ready to do battle. Tucker is the first unfortunate soul to suffer Jack’s ire, but he, in turn, gives as good as he gets and backs his lady love’s actions to the hilt.
Enter Ashley to fess up to her handiwork to give Jack the screaming match that he’s so desperate for. In the midst of the war of words, Diane enters and attempts to referee, only to be sharply rebuked by her future sister-in-law.
To that, Jack grouses that Diane is more a member of the family than the likes of Tucker, only for Ashley to spit that Tucker is, in actuality, her fiancé — which is news to Tucker. Good news, but news nonetheless.
