The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, February 5 reveal the walls closing on the Newmans, so to speak. Hmmm…. Nick goes into defense mode for his family, someone is taking a closer look at Phyllis, and Summer gleefully pushes Kyle’s buttons as only Summer can. You won’t want to miss a moment of this emotional episode.

Was it only a few months ago that Nick was washing his hands of Victor… again. Didn’t he give away all his dirty Newman money, launching a new company (with his slightly less dirty Newman money?), and loudly and proudly proclaim himself his own man?

Yeah, well, those days are over. Nick is back under Victor’s thumb, ignoring business to proclaim his Daddy’s innocence. Sure, Nick can claim he’s doing it to protect Nikki and Victoria, but how long before he’s back on the Victor Rocks train?

Now that Nick suspects JT faked his own death, he’s made it his mission to convince Rey. No one picks on Nick Newman’s family and gets away with it! Phyllis may be in bed with Nick, but she’s not on board the Victor Rocks bandwagon. She hopes he does go to jail for a really, really long time. It will make up for his going to jail for a really, really short time for what he did to her.
