The Young and the Restless On the Tuesday, February 6 episode of The Young and the Restless, spoilers reveal that Victor is more concerned about his wife hanging out with her ex-husband than he initially admitted. Something is happening that Victor can’t control. And Victor don’t play that.
Victor nodded like he wasn’t a complete tyrant after catching Nikki with Jack without his permission. He pretended to understand, and then he told Nikki she had his complete support. (Subtext: Why would you need Jack’s?)
Victor went home. And brooded (remember, he’s the only one who gets to keep a secret). He’s given this situation a lot of thought, and he’s decided he doesn’t buy the explanation Jack fed him. (In Victor’s defense: It was a lie. And Smiling Jack isn’t the skilled liar he used to be.) Which means Nikki has some ‘splaining to do.
Jack realized his fib was inadequate as soon as it sputtered out of his mouth. He confessed as much to Diane. He understands that Victor will be coming after him again, and that he needs backup. Or, at least, plausible deniability.
