Ciara Brady has been the saving grace for Ben Weston. She believed in him when no one else did on DOOL. Ron is using this couple to show how love can defy the odds and overcome all that is thrown at it. He is also showing how faith is one of the most powerful healers. Ciara’s belief in Ben has kept him going even when he didn’t believe in himself. She has refused to give up on them despite his doubts and worries.
Unfortunately, not everyone wants him to get a second chance. Eve Donovan has him in her sights and abuses her power as police commissioner to arrest him for Claire Brady’s crimes.
