Of course, everyone would be broken by the events, but what they didn’t know was that Holly had survived the accident and Ted and Xander had her. It is still unclear exactly who brought Holly out of the car before the explosion but at least the viewer will know that she survived.
Of course, Nicole will not know that her daughter survived and she will suffer a lot. And during that time, Xander and Ted will be at the scene, witnessing Nicole and the others suffer at Holly’s defeat. DOOL spoilers pointed out that Xander will interact directly with Nicole in the future, so he will witness his pain with his own eyes knowing that Holly is really alive.
And of course, Ted would probably be right there to comfort Hope when she dealt with the collapse from Holly’s death. The abduction has been dealt with and Ted will be right next to her.
It would be interesting to see how long it took until Nicole and the others found Holly survived the accident and the explosion. But it seemed like it would be long, because Zander and Ted were clearly motivated to keep Holly captive. When do you think Nicole will get her daughter back.
