Lauren Koslow took to social media to inform her friends and DOOL fans of the heartbreaking loss her family experienced yesterday. Paying tribute to her husband’s mother Marie Schillace, Koslow wrote, “In loving memory of Marie Schillace, beloved mom, mom-in-law & grandma, She was also a true friend, role model & one of the strongest women I’ve ever known.
Marie passed away yesterday at 99, Rest In Peace dear one with your beloved Lou. You are always in my heart.” Posting pictures of Mrs. Shillace and herself together, the Days of Our Lives star depicted the bond that the two have shared for the past few decades. Marie Shillace is the mother of Koslow’s husband, Nicky Shillace.
Marie Shillace is also the grandmother of Lauren’s three children Emilia, Zachariah, and Milli. However, Marie Schillace lived a long life, passing away at the age of 99.
