Britt Westbourne is determined that she not live out her last days in Port Charles as a person who needs constant care so she has every intention of leaving this town she calls home after the new year — meaning after her big blowout birthday party on The Haunted Star.
To that end, she needs to end her tenure as co-chief of staff at GH and tells Terry Randolph she will be leaving her job and leaving town. Needless to say, Terry is stunned. Their partnership had been working out so well that it turned into a friendship, and Terry cannot imagine why Britt would do this when she seems to be at the top of her game.
Meanwhile, an oblivious Dante Falconeri and Cody Bell discuss the Britt situation, and Dante ends up encouraging his friend to try to make things up to Britt.
