Drew is not thinking of throwing anyone in jail so that he doesn’t go to jail, but he still thinks that blackmailing Ned will solve his problems. However, as a backup plan, he gets himself a good lawyer who turns out to be Portia’s brother Zeke. So, now we know why he’s in town (aside from giving Jordan a new love interest), but can he save Drew?
As Drew and Carly try to figure a way out of a mess of their own, the person who did tip off the SEC is frantic, worrying that she will be caught reporting a crime. It doesn’t help when Martin tells her that the SEC is asking him to give up the identity of the informant he represents.
While Martin assures Nina he won’t do that, she is still quaking in her high heels. We haven’t seen Elizabeth since she tried to check an AWOL Anna in her hospital room, but she finally makes an appearance again on Wednesday — and gets some good news.
Has she been approved as the new head nurse just as Epiphany wanted, or does she learn Cameron is soon coming home for the summer? She thought she was close to losing her job a few months ago, so the position she always dreamed of would be good news indeed.
