Victor is not easily beaten or easily dissuaded. Sure, Victoria withdrew Newman Enterprises’ bid for McCall Unlimted. However, Victor wasn’t pleased about the situation.
Victoria suggested he buy McCall on his own, which might not be Victor’s style either. Now, Victor strategizes with Devon about the situation. Could he want to create a new partnership somehow? Victoria Newman dropped a bombshell on Victor Newman.
She told him that Newman Enterprises would not be buying McCall Holdings. Why? Because Vikki realized if she did, she wouldn’t run it. Already Victor made clear he wanted Adam Newman to run it on The Young and the Restless. So, Victoria saw that if she made the deal with Tucker McCall, she probably wouldn’t get to control the outcome.
So, she scrapped the deal for no other reason than to screw over her little brother. Then, she ranted at Victor about how Adam shouldn’t be handed anything. Of course, The Mustache reminded his namesake daughter that he’d handed her his company.
