Daytime Emmy winner Shemar Moore returns as Malcolm to bid his brother farewell. (We’ll just ignore the. Family Matters guy who played the part in the interim he was way too young, to begin with.)

Malcolm is here to honor Neil, but will Lily’s paternity come into play? Lily, Malcolm, and Dru kept the secret of parentage for literally years, classic soap style. When Neil did finally learn the truth, he insisted. Lily would always be his daughter, and she vowed the same thing.

But now Neil is gone. Lily even stressed to Cane how she’d lost both her parents. So where does that leave Malcolm? Will he try to horn in and play daddy, or will he respect Lily’s boundaries?

And one more thing: Who can see Malcolm and. Moore as the grandfather of teenagers Mattie and Charlie, who are about to go off to college? Meanwhile, there’s the issue of Dru. Remember how Lily said her mom was dead?
