The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, April 24 reveal a heartbreaking day in Genoa City when the most unexpected news travels through town. It’s all about Neil and, by extension, his late portrayer, Kristoff St. John, as the people whose lives he touched learn of the character’s death.

Devon went to check on Neil when he failed to show up for Society’s big opening, and found his adoptive dad dead. Devon returned to the club where he filled in Lily, Cane, Mattie, and Charlie. Lily collapsed in tears as her family supported her. Ana and Jett heard, and Traci filled in Abby. But Neil touched a lot more lives than that!

A recovering alcoholic himself, Neil helped Nikki with her drinking problem, and Jack with his addiction to pills. They both counted on Neil and called him when they feared falling off their respective wagons.

He was their rock, and they are bound to be devastated by his passing. Will Neil’s death topple their sobriety? Neil and Victoria were in a serious relationship. He supported her when she was separated from husband Cole and through the death of her baby girl, Eve. They remained on good terms.
