The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, May 1 reveal a day of heartbreak, resistance, and worry in Genoa City. Cane sticks to his guns where Lily is concerned, Abby worries about Devon, and Traci searches for inspiration in reality.

Just after feeling the loss of Hilary and finally starting to heal, Devon’s now has to suffer the loss as his father as Neil’s death takes center stage in his life. Abby worries about her friend and business partner’s mental health. He does have a lot on his place, with Neil, the club, his record label, and Ana’s family moving in. But will Abby help, or just add to his problems?

Jill isn’t really Cane’s mom but he did spend months pretending to be the real Phillip (despite being many decades younger). And she’s his stepmother… sort of. Jill has kicked Colin to the curb once again.

In any case, she’s better than his real mother (who is busy on General Hospital). In any case, she will do when it comes to pouring his heart out about losing Lily. Cane is determined not to give up on his wife. And Jill knows a little something about clinging to love… no matter what.
