The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, September 9, 2020, reveal Lily and Billy speaking a common language, Chelsea not appreciating being left out of the loop, and Phyllis taking over as only Phyllis can.

Every time it looks like Billy and Lily are on their way to working successfully together, something happens. Usually something stupid and contrived. First Lily wanted to hire Theo and Billy didn’t. Then Billy wanted to hire Theo and Lily didn’t.

Then, instead of working, they often get distracted discussing who should and who shouldn’t be dating whom, and, next thing you know, Billy is filling out a dating up to prove some obscure point about how he is not interested in Amanda. Is this what Jill really hired them both for?

Luckily, for the stockholders, the pair finally gets down to work. And the results surprise them both! Chelsea tried talking to Adam about his pity party spiral. She’s tried talking to Nikki, to Chance, to Sharon, and to Victor. In fact, she’s done nothing but talk since it all began.
