Mariah asked Tessa to tell Nick that she had found a video demonstrating the women who buried JT. Tess had destroyed the video, but Nick was afraid it could still be found. And it can be used to prove their guilt, especially the part they paid for a blackmailer to keep it a secret.

Nick warns Mariah to think more about his romantic choices, then bring her forward. But Mariah is not ready to give up. She lamented to Nick that she could not eat her sleep, worried about Sharon and Tessa.

And so Mariah decided to put the problem in her hands. She made a move that Mariah believed would be useful. Does Mariah often talk about things like this? Hope Mia will stand by the baby about everything worthy. Her small magic is to keep her safe.
